Recently, at the 44th ICCAD conference held in Munich, Germany, the team led by Professors Wang Xingsheng and Miao Xiangshui from the School of Integrated Circuits at Huazhong University of Science and Technology reported their latest research achievement—"SPARTA: Spike-Aware Token Skipping Co-Optimization with Heterogeneous ReRAM-CIM Architecture for Spiking Transformer Acceleration." This research is based on memristors and focuses on pulsed in-memory computing technology. Notably, this marks the first time that the School of Integrated Circuits at Huazhong University of Science and Technology has published a paper at the ICCAD conference, signifying a significant advancement in the field of hardware acceleration for spiking neural networks.
