At the New York Financial Analyst Conference held on Tuesday, Lisa Su, the CEO of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), announced that the company projects its revenue will experience a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 35% over the upcoming three to five years. This growth is largely attributed to the continuous surge in demand for artificial intelligence chips. Su disclosed that AMD's data center AI business is anticipated to achieve an 80% annual growth rate within the same timeframe, potentially amassing tens of billions of dollars in revenue by 2027. The company has set its sights on capturing a double-digit market share in the AI chip sector, which is presently dominated by NVIDIA (holding a market share ranging from approximately 80% to 94%).
