Chipmaker TSMC has reportedly started informing its key clients, among which is Apple, about additional price hikes. Based on a report by Naver blogger 'yeux1122' from South Korea, TSMC has notified its customers that there will be a price rise for advanced - process chips with a node size below 5 nanometers. This price adjustment will have an impact on Apple's current A16, A17, A18, A19, M3, M4, and M5 chips, along with their future iterations. The anticipated price increase is in the range of 8 - 10%, and it is set to come into effect next year.
