A fresh twist has emerged in the ongoing control dispute between Nexperia Netherlands and Nexperia China. At 1:34 AM on November 2, Nexperia Semiconductor China Co., Ltd. released a public announcement. It revealed that Nexperia Semiconductor Netherlands had made a unilateral decision to stop supplying wafers to its packaging and testing factory in Dongguan, effective from October 26, 2025. The Dutch entity cited non-compliance with contractual payment terms by local management as the reason for this move.

Nexperia China was taken aback by this development and vehemently opposed it. The company asserted that the claim was entirely unfounded and amounted to malicious slander. Moreover, Nexperia China pointed out that it was actually Nexperia Semiconductor Netherlands that owed over 1 billion yuan in payments. To ensure uninterrupted service to its customers, Nexperia China has built up a substantial inventory, which it believes will be sufficient to meet customer order demands steadily not just till the end of the year but also beyond. Additionally, the company has rolled out multiple contingency plans aimed at accelerating the validation process for new wafer production capacities.
