On Tuesday (local time), Nokia made public the news that Nvidia was set to invest a whopping $1 billion in the company. For Nvidia, this marks its newest collaborative venture. Once the announcement hit the airwaves, Nokia's stock price went through the roof, skyrocketing by 22%. It soared to a peak of $8.19, a level not seen since January 2021. According to the official statement, Nokia is slated to issue roughly 166 million new shares to Nvidia at a price of $6.01 per share. This move will enable Nvidia to secure a 2.9% stake in Nokia.
