Between September 15 and 19, southbound funds traded with a net inflow of HKD 36.851 billion, marking a 39.41% decline compared to the previous week. Nevertheless, these funds have sustained net inflows for an uninterrupted 18-week period. This week, 22 individual stocks featured on the daily list of the top ten most actively traded stocks. Alibaba-W emerged as the leader in terms of total trading volume through the Hong Kong Stock Connect. Meanwhile, four stocks, including SMIC, each reported total trading volumes surpassing HKD 20 billion. When it comes to shareholdings, the holdings of southbound funds in 11 stocks soared by over 100% week-on-week. Baize Healthcare led the charge in this regard, while four stocks, such as Nanshan Aluminum International, witnessed their shareholdings expand by more than 500% week-on-week.
