On September 18, 2025, the Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index surged by over 2% to rise above 1,400 points, led by gains in chip stocks. The heavyweight stock Hygon Information rose by more than 7%, while Cambricon rose nearly 5% to return above 1,500 yuan. Loongson Technology, Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment International (AMEC), and ACM Research (Shanghai) were among the top gainers.
