On September 17th, sources reported that during Hillstone Networks' performance presentation, the company unveiled a significant milestone: it has emerged as the third cybersecurity firm worldwide to independently develop its proprietary ASIC security chip. Presently, this ASIC security chip has reached the mass-production tape-out stage, a critical juncture in semiconductor manufacturing where the chip design is finalized and sent for production. However, it has not yet undergone the return-for-testing process, a subsequent step where the produced chips are evaluated for performance and reliability.

Notably, the revenue generated from Hillstone Networks' financial sector clients traditionally constitutes around 20% of its total earnings. In the first half of the year, the company's research and development endeavors were strategically focused on several key areas. These included the advancement of the ASIC security chip project, the refinement and expansion of its XinChuang (domestic innovation) product range, the integration of AI technology to enhance its products and services, and the bolstering of its security service capabilities.
