Intel plans to start mass production of its 18A process in 2025, a key step in its four-year, five-generation process roadmap, which will continue to be improved and applied until 2030. As the next-generation technology after 18A, the 14A process will adopt ASML's Twinscan NXE:5000 series High NA EUV lithography machine, which increases the numerical aperture to 0.55, offering higher resolution and serving as the core equipment for process nodes below 2nm.
