A collaborative research team, headed by Tang Kechao of Peking University's School of Integrated Circuits/Advanced Innovation Center for Integrated Circuits, along with researchers from the University of California, Berkeley, has successfully developed a cutting-edge passive memristive sensor. This innovative sensor is capable of detecting the salt concentration in liquids by measuring the ion migration rate on the material's surface. Moreover, it boasts a power-independent, persistent 'memory' feature, paving the way for low-power solutions in bionic intelligent navigation and various other applications. The pertinent research results have been published in the esteemed journal Nature Materials.
