The injection-based drug Iza-bren, a globally groundbreaking EGFR×HER3 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), independently developed by Baili Tianheng, has secured a spot on the Priority Review Varieties List. This list is curated by the Center for Drug Evaluation under China's National Medical Products Administration. Iza-bren stands out as the sole new-concept drug that has advanced to the Phase III clinical trial stage, making it the first of its kind worldwide to achieve this significant milestone. Presently, Iza-bren is the subject of over 40 clinical trials across China and the United States, focusing on a variety of tumor types.
