On September 3, Wanton Smart announced that the design of its Fellow 1 chip has advanced significantly, with sampling anticipated to begin in October. The initial version of the chip is now in place, and further refinements will follow based on comprehensive testing results. According to the roadmap, the Fellow 1 chip is slated for tape-out in the first quarter of 2026, with a return in the subsequent quarter.
