On Tuesday, the Samsung Electronics labor union addressed a letter to Group Chairman Lee Jae-yong, advocating for greater transparency within the company's bonus structure. In the letter, union representatives urged the implementation of a more transparent bonus evaluation system and the scrapping of the current Economic Value Added (EVA)-based system. The union highlighted that SK Hynix had already decided to allocate 10% of its annual operating profit to bonuses, whereas Samsung Electronics continues to rely on the less transparent EVA method.
