Intel's ambitious "five generations in four years" roadmap reaches a pivotal point this year, with the company aiming to commence mass production of its 18A process by year's end. The initial wave of products encompasses the desktop Nova Lake, the mobile Panther Lake, and the server CPUs, Diamond Rapids and Clearwater Forest. Notably, the Panther Lake processor is poised to enter mass production in the latter half of 2025, with a launch anticipated in early 2026, specifically targeting the high-performance notebook and AI PC segments. On the other hand, Clearwater Forest integrates the cutting-edge 18A process with advanced 3D packaging technology, slated for mass production in early 2026, and is geared towards the burgeoning cloud computing and data center markets.
