On August 27, the Donghu High-tech Zone convened a symposium specifically tailored for leading CPO (Co-Packaged Optics) and silicon photonics enterprises. The event brought together heads of 17 prominent companies and R&D institutions specializing in optoelectronics and integrated circuits, alongside industry investors and university experts. The gathering aimed to collaboratively chart the course for the advancement of CPO and silicon photonics industries within Optical Valley. During the symposium, it was emphasized that within the next decade, CPO and silicon photonics technologies are poised to achieve widespread adoption, fundamentally transforming the optical module industry landscape. It was underscored that Optical Valley must proactively strategize to capitalize on this emerging race track. Participants engaged in insightful discussions on fostering deeper cooperation across the industrial chain's upstream and downstream segments, with a shared vision of orchestrating the next decade's evolution in optoelectronics and chip industries.
