During the first seven months of 2025, China's communications industry maintained a stable operational performance, marked by a continuous expansion in the number of 5G and gigabit users. Telecommunications business revenue recorded a year-on-year growth of 0.7%, while the overall business volume surged by 8.9%. The total count of fixed Internet broadband access users reached 686 million, with gigabit users comprising approximately one-third of this figure. Furthermore, 5G base stations accounted for 36% of the total mobile base stations, and 5G users surpassed 60% of the total user base.
