The research team led by Liu Ming at the National Key Laboratory of Precision Micro-Nano Manufacturing Technology at Xi'an Jiaotong University, in collaboration with Lu Qi, has significantly advanced the field of spin-orbit torque devices. They have successfully demonstrated efficient spin control at low voltage in NiFe/PtOx structured devices, leveraging silicon-based lead zirconate titanate (PZT) thin films.
