Security experts have unveiled a critical flaw in OpenAI's Connectors feature, enabling attackers to surreptitiously extract sensitive information from Google Drive without any direct user interaction. At the Black Hat conference, these researchers demonstrated an attack methodology that solely necessitates the target user's email address. While OpenAI has initiated measures to address this vulnerability, the company has refrained from publicly disclosing the specifics of the issue. Connectors, a beta feature offered by OpenAI for ChatGPT, allows users to seamlessly integrate external services with the chatbot.
