On August 6, the General Office of the Shanghai Municipal Government unveiled the "Implementation Plan for the Development of Shanghai's Embodied Intelligence Industry." The plan outlines ambitions to achieve at least 20 breakthroughs in core algorithms and technologies, including embodied models and embodied corpora, by 2027. Additionally, it envisions the establishment of at least four high-quality embodied intelligence incubators, the clustering of 100 industry leaders, the implementation of 100 innovative application scenarios, and the promotion of 100 internationally renowned products. By this time, the core embodied intelligence industry in Shanghai is projected to surpass 50 billion yuan in scale. Notably, the plan underscores support for pivotal technological advancements in perception, decision-making, motion control, embodied corpora, and operating systems, offering financial assistance of up to 30% of the total project investment, with a maximum cap of 50 million yuan.
