Fudan University Zhongshan Hospital has secured approval from the National Development and Reform Commission to establish a National Artificial Intelligence Application Pilot Base, dedicated to advancing clinical medical research in the healthcare sector. This base endeavors to create a comprehensive innovation platform encompassing research and development, testing, validation, and application, centered around five core competencies: domestic computing power, model services, trusted data spaces, open toolchains, and robust security systems. The initiative aims to deploy at least 49 distinctive application scenarios, fostering advancements in medical research, intelligent diagnosis and treatment, enhancing diagnostic efficiency and accuracy, and ultimately optimizing the patient experience.
