Bloomberg reports that Zhejiang BrainCo is in talks to secure a funding round valuing the company at over US$1.3 billion, with plans to proceed with an initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong or mainland China subsequent to this financing. Established in 2015 by Harvard graduate Han Bicheng, BrainCo is a pioneer in the development of bionic limbs and brain-computer interface (BCI) technology, positioning itself as a formidable competitor to Musk's Neuralink. The company is recognized as one of Hangzhou's esteemed "Six Little Dragons," a group that includes DeepSeek and other notable enterprises. This latest funding initiative is poised to accelerate BrainCo's growth trajectory and pave the way for its public market debut.
