On August 1, the Hangzhou High-tech Zone (Binjiang) convened a conference aimed at fostering an AI industry innovation hub. During the event, the Hangzhou Embodied Intelligence Application Pilot Base was officially launched, led by an expert panel headed by Academician Wang Yaonan. Notably, Wang Xingxing, the CEO of Unitree Robotics, was appointed as the Chief Scientist of this pioneering initiative. Concurrently, the construction of the Hangzhou Data Valley Data Innovation Center and the Zhejiang Province Humanoid Robot Future Industry Pilot Zone was also unveiled. The ceremony witnessed the signing of several groundbreaking projects, spanning diverse domains including commercial aerospace, AI sensing and control, data security, low-altitude defense, data annotation, embodied intelligence cloud services, and the advancement of versatile 3D large models.
