At the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Wang Qizhou, co-founder of Unitree, underscored that humanoid robots are confronted with a "pseudo-intelligence" challenge. He emphasized that while their dance routines are meticulously pre-programmed, these robots lack the capacity to make autonomous decisions in real-world scenarios. The primary defect, he noted, stems from fragmented environmental perception, coupled with inadequate movement coordination and a lack of multi-task generalization capabilities. These shortcomings significantly impede the advancement of humanoid robots.
