On July 10, Bloomberg cited the insights of analysts from the investment research firm LightShed Partners, who warned that Apple confronts substantial risks stemming from its challenges in artificial intelligence (AI) and suggested the company should evaluate the need for a change in leadership from current CEO Tim Cook. In their report, LightShed analysts Walter Piecyk and Joe Galone emphasized that Apple presently requires a CEO with a primary focus on product innovation, rather than one adept at supply chain management. This suggests that Cook's extensive background in logistics, which preceded his appointment as CEO, may no longer align with the company's current requirements.
