Tesla has temporarily ceased procuring parts for its humanoid robot, Optimus, in order to concentrate on refining technical aspects of both software and hardware. This includes optimizing joint motors, enhancing the dexterity and load-bearing capacity of its robotic hands, and improving the endurance of its transmission system. The departure of the initial project leader has posed a challenge, resulting in a delay of at least two months for mass production plans. The timeline for large-scale production will be reassessed once design adjustments are finalized.
