On July 3, the European Commission announced that guidelines designed to assist thousands of companies in adhering to the EU's AI regulations are expected to be issued by the end of this year, a six-month delay from the initial timeline. A spokesperson for the Commission clarified that the European AI Board is currently deliberating on the timing for implementing the GPAI Code of Conduct within the AI Act, with a tentative plan to publish the guidelines by the end of 2025.
