In an effort to bolster the employability of graduates, the Ministry of Education is expediting its 'Double Thousand' plan. Targeting high-demand and underrepresented fields, including artificial intelligence and the low-altitude economy, the Ministry has launched 2,654 'micro-majors,' benefiting 74,000 students set to graduate in 2025. These courses are designed to refine graduates' knowledge base and upgrade their skills, ultimately strengthening their position in the job market. Studies reveal that over 80% of graduates who enrolled in these 'micro-majors' reported a notable improvement in their employment opportunities.
