Wired magazine reports that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has allegedly offered a staggering sum of up to $300 million (approximately RMB 2.15 billion) over a four-year period to attract top artificial intelligence (AI) talent for the company's newly established super intelligence lab. The compensation for the first year alone is said to exceed $100 million. Sources indicate that Meta has extended at least 10 lucrative offers to employees at OpenAI. In response, a Meta spokesperson has denied these claims, stating that the reported compensation packages are false and have been significantly misrepresented. Notably, Zuckerberg has reportedly succeeded in recruiting at least seven employees from OpenAI, prompting OpenAI's Chief Research Officer, Ilya Sutskever, to announce that compensation packages will be reviewed and adjusted accordingly.
