Apple provides the iPhone screen mirroring capability in major global markets, enabling users to replicate their iPhone screens onto Macs for seamless interaction. Nonetheless, this feature is conspicuously absent in the EU market. During the WWDC 2025 Developer Conference, Apple elaborated that the EU's Digital Markets Act, which mandates the openness of the iOS system, poses a challenge. The company fears that once this feature is introduced, regulators might compel it to extend support to Android devices as well, thereby incurring significant technical complexities and business risks. Consequently, Apple has opted not to roll out this feature in the EU market for the time being.
