Meta aims to solidify its leading position in the AI race by establishing a new AI research lab specifically focused on the pursuit of 'superintelligence.' According to four reliable sources, Meta has extended an invitation to Alexander Wang, the 28-year-old visionary behind Scale AI, to head this endeavor and is currently in talks for a multi-billion dollar investment.
