On May 31, the Dunhuang Academy unveiled the 'Digital Sutra Cave' database platform, granting global access to digital renditions of over 9,900 manuscripts and more than 60,700 images from Dunhuang. This rich content encompasses Buddhist scriptures, legal documents, contracts, silk paintings, and various other artifacts. Leveraging its mixed large model and intelligent retrieval technology, Tencent has enhanced the platform with features like ancient text retrieval, multilingual translation, classical-to-modern Chinese translation, intelligent Q&A, and AI summarization. These advancements ensure that the profound culture of Dunhuang is not only preserved but also presented and comprehended more effectively worldwide.
