On the morning of May 29, 2025, at precisely 1:31 am, China achieved a significant milestone with the successful launch of the Tianwen-2 probe from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. Utilizing a Long March 3B carrier rocket, the Tianwen-2 was propelled into a transfer orbit, commencing its journey from Earth to the asteroid 2016HO3. The deployment of the probe's solar wings proceeded smoothly, signaling the flawless execution of the launch mission.
