On May 22, OpenAI proudly announced the initiation of the Stargate UAE project, marking the first international rollout of its pioneering Stargate AI infrastructure platform and the debut partnership under the 'OpenAI for Countries' program. Partnering with G42, a UAE-based company, OpenAI will establish a 1GW Stargate UAE cluster in Abu Dhabi, with an anticipated 200MW becoming operational by 2026. As part of this strategic investment collaboration, G42 intends to mirror its investment in the United States.
