On the afternoon of May 21, the BEYOND Expo 2025 grandly opened its doors in Macao, welcoming Wang Jian, Director of Zhejiang Lab and Founder of Alibaba Cloud, as a keynote speaker. In his address, Wang Jian emphasized that computing power stands as one of the primary hindrances to the advancement of AI. To overcome this challenge, Zhejiang Lab has embarked on an ambitious project titled the 'Trisolaris Computing Constellation,' a space-based computing system. He disclosed that the lab is set to complete the deployment of over 50 computing satellites this year, with aspirations to expand to approximately 100 satellites by 2027.
