On May 7, Lenovo convened the 2025 Innovation Technology Conference in Shanghai, where Yang Yuanqing, Chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group, expressed Lenovo's unwavering stance towards potential tariff hikes. He noted that while the company is not deterred by high tariffs, it is mindful of the unpredictability inherent in policy shifts. Yang underscored that with clear and defined policies in place, Lenovo possesses the agility to swiftly adapt and outperform its competitors. Leveraging a hybrid model that blends globalization with localization, Lenovo has strategically established 33 factories across 10 countries, positioning itself robustly to tackle any tariff-related challenges head-on.
