On April 29, the Digital Economy Sub-Forum of the 8th Digital China Summit took place, where Wang Qixin, Director of Hangzhou Unitree Technology Co., Ltd., disclosed that by 2024, the cumulative financing for domestic embodied and humanoid robot projects had surpassed 10 billion yuan, suggesting that humanoid robots are poised to become a common household fixture. Wang Qixin emphasized that the path to embodied intelligence entails three critical stages: firstly, constructing a flexible embodied cognitive system; secondly, attaining a high level of autonomous decision-making and planning capabilities; and lastly, ensuring precise, goal-oriented interactions with the physical world.
