Stairway Stars has proudly launched Step1X-Edit, a highly versatile image editing model. Capable of performing 11 distinct image editing tasks, including text replacement, portrait enhancement, and style transfer, this model also showcases multimodal image modification capabilities. Boasting an impressive 19 billion parameters, Step1X-Edit incorporates features such as semantic parsing, identity preservation, and region control. Evaluated on the proprietary benchmark test set GEdit-Bench, Step1X-Edit excels in core metrics, surpassing existing open-source models and achieving industry-leading performance. The model is immediately available and open-sourced, allowing users to access it on platforms like GitHub. This marks the third multimodal model recently introduced by Stairway Stars.
