At the Baidu Create Developer Conference, Robin Li unveiled a series of initiatives aimed at supporting developers in adopting MCP (Model as a Service). Among these initiatives, Baidu launched several MCP servers, including the pioneering e-commerce transaction MCP and search MCP. Leveraging its Wenxin large model and intelligent cloud platform, Baidu has enhanced its support for MCP, offering MCP interfaces tailored for services such as search engines, e-commerce transactions, and intelligent coding. The company asserts that its search MCP stands at the forefront of the market. Additionally, Li emphasized that Baidu remains committed to enhancing the compatibility and application scope of MCP to better cater to the evolving needs of developers.
