BrainCo, in partnership with researchers from the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has achieved remarkable milestones in a clinical trial of high-precision, real-time motor decoding at Huashan Hospital, affiliated with Fudan University. A 19-year-old patient with epilepsy underwent a successful implantation of a 256-channel flexible brain-computer interface (BCI). Following extensive training, the patient demonstrated the ability to control multiple games, including 'Honor of Kings' and 'Black Myth: Wukong', as well as smart devices, solely through their thoughts. This accomplishment, leveraging the independently developed XessOS brain-computer operating system, holds promise for significantly enhancing the quality of life for individuals with motor impairments.

Furthermore, the trial leveraged the BCI to precisely locate the epilepsy focus, facilitating a successful surgery without compromising the patient's functional abilities. BrainCo aims to further the development and clinical testing of wireless BCI products in the near future, pushing the boundaries of this cutting-edge technology.
