On April 17, the Vietnamese government announced that Qualcomm intends to construct a significant artificial intelligence research and development (R&D) center within the country. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung urged Qualcomm to contemplate expanding its production capacity in Vietnam.
