China has recently witnessed the official approval of a series of national standards governing the technical specifications for humanoid robots, marking a pivotal milestone as the country's first batch of standards in this domain. These standards encompass a comprehensive array of technical requirements, spanning environmental perception, decision-making planning, motion control, and operational manipulation. Multiple enterprises within the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing Yizhuang) have been actively involved in the formulation of these standards, with Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center Co., Ltd. and UBTECH Robotics serving as co-initiators and playing a pivotal role. The implementation of these standards is poised to standardize the development of the humanoid robot industry, thereby fostering technological innovation and enhancing the practical application of these advanced robots.
