The European Commission intends to establish a network of AI superfactories, designed to assist companies in training sophisticated models. These advanced facilities will be equipped with approximately 100,000 cutting-edge AI chips, roughly quadrupling the capacity of existing factories under construction. This announcement forms a pivotal part of the EU's AI "Continental Action Plan," underscoring its commitment to becoming a formidable competitor in the global AI landscape.
