The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has unveiled the core priorities for industry and information technology standardization efforts through 2025. These priorities emphasize enhancing the role of standards in serving enterprises, exploring and advancing the integration of 'AI + Standardization', and leveraging large AI models to streamline the standardization process from pre-research to compilation, promotion, and implementation. The goal is to boost the efficiency of standard formulation and facilitate its application. Additionally, the MIIT encourages collaboration between leading enterprises and specialized, innovative, and small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to undertake technological advancements, pilot projects, standard development, and product innovation, fostering a tightly integrated supply chain ecosystem.
