On April 3, 2025, China triumphantly sent the Tianping-3A satellite 02 into its designated orbit from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, utilizing the Long March 6 carrier rocket. The Tianping-3A satellite 02 primarily serves multiple purposes: it calibrates ground radar equipment, conducts RCS (Radar Cross Section) measurements, supports imaging experiments for ground optical equipment, and performs detection and monitoring experiments for low-orbit space environments. Additionally, it assists in atmospheric space environment measurement and orbit prediction model correction. This launch mission represents the 568th successful flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets, further solidifying China's space exploration capabilities.
