The Administrative Committee of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area has issued the "Several Measures on Accelerating the Construction of a Highland for the Open-Source and Open Innovation Technology Industry." These measures support enterprises in conducting independent research in areas such as basic hardware, basic software, industrial software, and cybersecurity. They focus on the "extreme foundations + extreme applications" of general artificial intelligence, supporting enterprises in making innovative breakthroughs in algorithm theory, software frameworks, intelligent computing chips, new types of computing clusters, and software intelligence, industrial intelligence, data intelligence, and embodied intelligence. The measures also accelerate the layout of disruptive frontier technology fields such as quantum computing, 6G, brain-computer interfaces, and optoelectronics. For enterprises undertaking major scientific and technological research tasks in related fields, matching funding support of up to 1:1 will be provided, with the maximum annual support amount for each project reaching up to 30 million yuan.
