The report calls for further strengthening and improving financial regulation, comprehensively reinforcing the "five major regulatory areas," enriching regulatory tools, enhancing regulatory capacity, closing regulatory gaps, and maintaining a fair and just market order; strengthening central-local coordination and departmental collaboration to severely crack down on illegal financial activities; exploring the application of artificial intelligence in financial management and services while guarding against model application risks; strengthening the protection of financial consumers' rights and interests; conducting consultations and deliberations on the fifth round of the mutual evaluation report on anti-money laundering; and advancing legislative and legal amendment work in key financial areas.
