On November 4, XPeng Group, in collaboration with teams from Peking University, the University of Hong Kong, and other institutions, released GroundingPI, an embodied perception foundation model. The research introduces a "perception-first" technical approach, achieving first place in a comprehensive evaluation across 34 public perception benchmarks with approximately 4 billion parameters, while demonstrating higher data processing efficiency and stronger scene generalization capabilities in robot simulation tasks.
