Cat Wu, product lead for Anthropic's Claude Code, has left the company. In a post on X, she said Friday was her last day at Anthropic but did not disclose why she was leaving or what she plans to do next. Wu oversaw two products: Claude Code and Cowork. Before Anthropic, she worked as an engineer at Scale AI and Dagster, then moved to Index Ventures. She joined Anthropic in August 2024, initially as a product manager for research, and later helped manage the two products. Her exit means Anthropic has now seen leadership changes for two of its key AI products.
