Meta is collaborating with Chinese company Fourier to develop a humanoid robot prototype called Max. The robot took about three months to build, stands approximately 1.5 meters tall, weighs about 48.1 kilograms, and is powered by NVIDIA's Thor chip. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg envisions it as the physical embodiment of the Muse AI model, capable of handling everyday household chores. The two companies began development of the Max 2 prototype in September this year, which will feature a redesigned torso and routine upgrades. No product launch date has been set, and there are no plans to sell the prototype.
