The official DeepSeek Harness team has published an article introducing an engineering-oriented Super-Agent architecture design. The article points out that traditional single-session Agents have limitations such as multitasking, summarizes the new autonomous Agent form into four characteristics—continuous, efficient, proactive, and persistent—and proposes an overall architecture composed of five parts, including a two-layer architecture and event-driven design, along with multiple optimization mechanisms. Experiments show that this architecture outperforms traditional single-session solutions in task completion efficiency and routing throughput. Currently, internal instances based on this approach have been put into operation, and the team has simultaneously released a prototype implementation for technical validation, while also noting that this architecture still has various unresolved issues.
